Option Tagged element Selected Element Element name Description
Vertical Top Top Element name Aligns the top of the selected text box to the top of the selected element on the vertical edge
Middle Middle Element name Aligns the middle of the selected text box to the middle of the selected element on the vertical edge
Bottom Bottom Element name Aligns the bottom of the selected text box to the bottom of the selected element on the vertical edge
Horizontal Left Right Element name Aligns the left of the selected text box to the right of the selected element on the horizontal edge (e.g. 
Centre Centre Element name Aligns the centre of the selected image box to the centre of the selected element on the horizontal edge
Right Left Element name Aligns the right of the selected text box to the left of the selected element on the horizontal edge

What you learned: How to pin content to another object

Learn how to pin horizontally or vertically selected text to another object such as legal copy by using the Alignment tagging. 

Use object to pin content

  1. Open the Pages Items Panel (CreateTOTALLY > Pages Items Panel) and select the image on the page you wish to pin.
  2. Click the New button at the bottom of the Pages Item Panel to open the Tags dialog box.
  3. Choose Alignment > Vertical.
  4. Select from the dropdown the following vertical options: Top, Middle, Bottom of select text frame and pin to image or text frame of another object.
  5. Select checkbox Pin (Snap)
  6. Choose Alignment > horizontal.
  7. Select from the dropdown the following horizontal options: Left, Centre, Right of select text frame and pin to image or text frame of another object.
  8. Select checkbox Pin (Snap)
  9. Click the OK button to save your Tags and close Tags dialog box.
